Homemade face mask recipes…..

Hey girlies and guys,

Before we get into today’s post I just want to apologise for not posting on Saturday I was out for my sisters hen do and didn’t have time to get a post up.

So with that been said let’s get into today’s post

For today’s post I am going to share with you a few recipes for homemade face masks that I have found online

Face mask #1: Banana

Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water

Face mask #2: Banana and honey

1/4 cup plain yogurt                                        2 tablespoons honey (a natural acne remedy)                                                               1 medium banana                                             Mix all the ingredients together into a smooth paste, apply to your face and let set for around 20 mins, then rinse off

Face mask #3: Milk

Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely, then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.

Face mask #4: Avocado

Take 1/4 ripe avocado and mash it up in a bowl until it turns lump free. Mix into the pulp 1 teaspoon of plain organic yogurt and 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Stir them well until you get a paste of uniform consistency. Apply the mask onto your skin for 10-15 minutes or until it dries out.

Face mask #5: Oatmeal

Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

Face mask #6: Egg

In a clean mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and lemon juice until the mixture becomes frothy.                                           Wash your face with warm water to open up your pores.                                            Relax yourself as you wait for the mixture to settle and dry on your face.                  Keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes.

So as you can see from this post you don’t need to spend lots of money on expensive face masks or even spending lots of money going to spas

Hope you all found this post useful

Avon ultra Color 3D plumping lipstick 💄….

Hey girlies,

So today’s post I  will be sharing with you all my thoughts and opinions on this lipstick from Avon cosmetics.

The shade I got in this lipstick is in the buff which is a really nice nude colour.

Above is the swatch of in the buff shade of the Avon ultra colour 3D plumping lipstick

This is quite a subtle colour which I find is really nice for everyday makeup. I really like how this lipstick applies to the lips. It just go on nice and evenly. I find that this lipstick is moisturing on the lips and has a subtle plumping effect.

A abit about this product

Formulated with collagen and Retinex Colour Complex for plumper, firmer smoother, more supple-looking lips.

Contains jojoba oil, caffeine and pomegranate extracts.

I really like this product and I definitely will be repurchasing it and I would recommend this product to family and family. I also like the silver packaging on this product it’s simple but cute. Another great thing about this product is that it comes in lots of different shades

P.S matte liquid foundation…

Hey girlies,

So a few weeks ago I was in Belfast for the day and while I was there I went to primark. Of course I did I love primark lol. When I was in primark I was having a look through the P.S makeup range and seen the matte liquid foundation so I thought I would purchase it to see if it was any good.

In today’s post i will be sharing with you all my thoughts and opinions on the matte liquid foundation for the P.S range in primark.

I purchased this foundation on the 25th February and I have been using it ever since. I absolutely love this foundation it is a great wee budget friendly foundation.

The P.S matte liquid foundation is medium coverage, Has a matte finish and is an oil free formula

I found this shade to be a great match for my skin and in pic above you can see a swatch of the shade.

As you can see from the pic above this foundation blends in really nice. The matte liquid foundation is a medium coverage foundation but if applied over primer i find that this foundation gives a pretty nice coverage and is great for everyday use whether  your on a tight budget or not.

I also feel that this foundation would be great for anyone beginning out with makeup as it is good quality and is cheap.

I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone who is trying makeup for the first time or anyone looking for an inexpensive everyday foundation.

Avon big daring volume mascara….

Hey girlies,

As you all know by now I love makeup and I love buying and trying new makeup all the time. So recently I purchased a few makeup items from Avon as I wanted to try them and see what the quality of the makeup is like.

So for today’s post I will share with you all my thoughts and opinions on the Avon big daring volume mascara.

I always like trying out different brands of mascara as mascara is one of my go to makeup products even if I’m not going to wear a lot of makeup I still like to put on some mascara.

I really like this mascara and it has to be one of the best mascaras that I have tried in a long time. I have really short eyelashes and I find this mascara give me volume and some length to my eyelashes and another thing I like about this mascara is that it doesn’t clump your eyelashes together I find it gets you a nice even layer of product

Below is a before and after pic of my eyelashes

Another thing I notice about this mascara is that the wand/brush is nice and fluffy. The bristles are dense and has a nice wee curve. This brush holds a lot of product so one coat is enough but if you want to get darker and longer looking lashes I would recommend using a few coats of mascara.

Overall I would recommend this product and I definitely will be re purchasing this mascara again.

This product can be bought from your nearest Avon Rep.

Thanks for reading this post and I hope you all found this post useful

Comment below if you have tried this mascara and let me know what you thought about it. Also leave me some recommendations for other mascaras that you think I should try out

Sleek makeup highlighting palette…..

Hey girlies and guys

For today’s post I will be sharing with you all my thoughts and opinions on the sleek makeup highlighting palette solstice.

I purchased this highlighting palette for £10 from Cara pharmacy.

Abit about sleek makeup:

Sleek MakeUP caters for all skin tones, with fashion-forward and innovative products at truly affordable prices. http://www.sleekmakeup.com

This palette has some really nice highlights in it. The four shades on this palette are  ecliptic, hemisphere, subsolar and equinox.

I absolutely love the gold packaging of this highlight palette and I also love that it has a mirror on the inside.

My thoughts:

I absolutely love the gold packaging on this palette. The highlight itself is pigmented and last a long time. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends and i will definitely be repurchasing this palette. I think this would make a great wee Christmas present or birthday present for someone special in your life. Even if you wanted to treat yourself this is a great wee product to buy. Another thing that’s great about this we palette is that it’s so affordable.
