Kat Von D lock it foundation…..

Hey girlies and guys,
A few months ago i went to Belfast and while I was in belfast I decided to go and have a wee look around Debenhams. Where I’m from we don’t have a Debenhams so there is a lot of makeup products that I can’t get in my hometown but I can get them in Debenhams so while I was in Debenhams I decided to purchase a few Kat Von D products and one of the products I purchased was the Kat Von D lock foundation in the shade 46 light cool

I found that the girls at the Kat Von D counter were very helpful and I ask one of them could they colour match my foundation which she did so she said that the shade 46 would be the best shade for me to get.

So for today’s post I will be sharing with you all my thoughts and opinions on the Kat Von D lock it foundation

I really like the packaging on the Kat Von D lock it foundation it’s simple but it’s also unique and I absolutely love the design of the KVD logo on the front of the bottle

The lock it foundation comes in several shades so you are bound to find a shade that will match your skin tone. My shade is 46 light cool and this shade matches my skin tone perfectly as I’m really pale but have pink undertones.

The Kat Von D lock foundation is a full coverage foundation that has a matte finish and it is also long lasting which is another great thing about this foundation. All you need is one pump of this foundation to cover your face. This foundation will even out discolouration and hide blemishes

When I’m wearing makeup I like my foundation to be full coverage so this foundation is brilliant for me. This foundation is great for people with oily skin and even combination skin but it’s not great if you’ve very dry skin

Another thing i love about this foundation is that it doesn’t crease under my eyes like some foundations do

Before I use this foundation I apply the lock it primer to my skin I find this primer great to use with this foundation

This foundation  is my favourite foundation that I have tried and I would definitely recommend this product and I will be repurchasing this product

I purchased my foundation from the Kat Von D makeup counter in Debenhams castle court Belfast but it can also be purchased from

Ps…. Contour pencils

hey girlies and guys,

On Monday I decided to share with you all my thoughts and opinions on the Ps… contour kit so for todays post I will be sharing with you all my thoughts and opinions on the Ps… contour pencils

As with the Ps… contour kit this product in the Ps.. range from Primark is also really affordable

Unlike the Ps.. contour kit  which is a powder  this product is a cream contour product. I prefer a powder contour but when I seen this product I had to get it and give  a try

One of the things that I like about this product is that the company provides a sharpener with this product which is really handy as these pencils are thicker than eye liner or lip liner pencil so a regular sized sharpener might not be big enough to sharpen these pencils

Another great thing about this product is that it comes with instructions on were to place the different products on your face this is great for anyone learning how to contour and highlight

Contouring and highlighting your face helps sculpt and define your features

Contouring: is used to shade areas you would like to define or re shape eg. forehead, cheekbones, chin and nose

Highlighting: is used to create an illusion of brightness

Bronze: is used to give your face some warmth

The contour pencils/crayons are easily applied and  the are a really creamy consistency . even though I’m not a big fan of cream contour products I prefer powder ones I do really like this contour product it is easily blend able and looks good. I would definitely recommend this product

Ingredients:

This product can be purchased from primark for around £3

Golflinks hotel portrush….

Hey girlies and guys,

This year for St. Patrick’s Day me and my partner decided we would go on a wee mini break to portrush. We arrived in portrush on the 16th march and left on the 18th march.

My partners brother has stayed in portrush a few time and he recommended the golflinks hotel to us as they have previously enjoyed a wee break in this hotel.

So for today’s post I will be sharing my experience with you all of the golflinks hotel portrush.

We arrived in portrush and went straight out to the hotel to check in. As we walked in to the hotel I couldn’t help but notice how nice the hotel looked. We walked up to the reception and was greeted by a lovely and friendly woman who checked us in.

Once we checked in we went up to leave are bags in the room. The room we had was a small double room but we were made aware of this when we booked the room. Me and my partner didn’t mind that the room was small because it was still a really comfy room and it was decorated lovely aswell.

This room had a comfy double and it also had tea making facilities

This hotel room also had a really nice ensuite bathroom.

We were really pleased with the room and really enjoyed our two night stay here.

In the mornings the offer a range of different breakfast from cereal, juice, fruit to a cooked meal from scrambled egg bacon and toast, poached egg bacon and toast to a Irish fry.

Both mornings I had the same breakfast which was scrambled eggs, bacon and toast and my partner had cereal. We also had orange juice and tea.

On the first night we ate dinner in the hotel and we had the house burger served with tobacco onions, pepper sauce and fries. I have to say this is the best burger I have ever had and I recommend everyone to try this burger if they are ever in portrush.

Conclusion:

Overall we had a brilliant stay at the golflinks hotel. The room was comfy, food was delicious and staff were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all my friends and family who are looking for a lovely place to stay in portrush. I will definitely be back.

Christmas Coca Cola truck Belfast 2016……

Hey girlies and guys,

On Sunday the 18th December me and my partner decided to go to Belfast for the day. We had heard that the Christmas Coca Cola truck was doing a tour to some cities in Northern Ireland. The Coca Cola truck was stopped at the sse arena from 12pm to 7pm on the 18th. There was a long queue to get to the truck but while standing in line the staff give us a free can of coke and when we got up to the actual truck we then got a picture taken beside the Coca Cola truck and then it was printed out which is great because it is lovely to have as a wee reminder of the day.  While standing in the queue to see the truck we were able to listen to lovely Christmas songs sung by the Dublin gospel choir.

So below are some of the pictures that I took the day we were at the Christmas Coca Cola truck.

The front of the truck had santa wrote on it.

Side of the truck has Coca Cola written in big white writing and has lights all around the truck

This truck is so festive and I’m really glad I got to see it at least once.

And towards the back of the truck has a big picture of Santa Claus 🤶 on it.

So that’s it for this post il have another post up on Monday.

Hope you all have and good Christmas and if you don’t celebrate Christmas I hope you enjoy any holidays that you celebrate
