Cuilcagh mountain…..

Hey girlies and guys,

Today me, my partner and some friends went for a lovely Sunday walk. We went for a walk up cuilcagh mountain which is located near the Marble Arch caves in County Fermanagh Northern Ireland.

I must say we really enjoyed the walk it was quite a long walk but was well worth it. I only got a few pictures as I was to busy enjoying the scenery instead of taking photos.

As it is such a long walk and some parts of is quite steep I would advise you to wear appropriate footwear. We wearied trainers as that was the only appropriate footwear that we own but I personally think hiking boots would be a better choice of footwear for this walk.

I would also advise you to take plenty of water with you and maybe some food aswell.

I will tell you all abit about cuilcagh mountain and then I will share with you all the photos I managed to take while out enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery.

So let me tell you abit about cuilcagh mountain….
Cuilcagh is a mountain on the border of County Fermanagh and county Cavan. It has a height of 655 metres and is the highest point in both counties.

The mountain is mainly sandstone and shale, covered with bog and heather.

Cuilcagh Mountain has one of the largest expanses of blanket bog in Northern Ireland, on a relatively high elevation upland landscape, bounded by limestone grassland to the north and montane habitats to the south.

Sorry haven’t posted in ages  had a very busy month but hopefully I will be uploading as normal now.

On Friday the 24th February my and my partner decided to take my niece and a friend on a wee day trip to the we are vertigo trampoline park in Belfast as none of us had been to it before.

When we went to we are vertigo we didn’t  know what to expect because we hadn’t been to a trampoline park before but I most say we had a brilliant time and it was a really good workout. Legs were aching after but it was good fun and my niece enjoyed it. Really good for a family day out.

Not only do the have the trampoline park but the also have other activities to do there.

I definitely would recommend it to everyone I know and i will definitely be back again.

Unfortunately I didn’t get any pics.

While we where staying in portrush we decided to get a bus to the Giants causeway.

We walked for the visitors centre down to the stones.

I was quite a long walk but it was really enjoyable as the weather was good.

In this post I will share a few pictures that I took of the Giants causeway.

We had a brill wee day out at the Giants causeway would definetly recommend anyone visiting Northern Ireland to take a wee trip to the Giants causeway.

As I was telling you all abit about my visit to the giants causeway I thought I would tell you all abit about the giants causeway for any of you that haven’t been to the Giants causeway or if you’s don’t know anything about the Giants causeway.

The Giants causeway is an area of interlocking basalt columns.                 It is located in county Antrim on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland.

The Giants causeway is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Northern Ireland.

There is also a legend about the Giants causeway and according to the legend the columns are the remains of a causeway built by a giant.
