Primers I have tried……

Hey girlies and guys,

When i wearing makeup I always apply primer before I apply my foundation. So for  today’s post I will be sharing with you all primers that I have tried and love ❤️

Primer prepares your skin for the perfect foundation application by filling in fine lines and smoothing pores, and it also keeps your makeup looking fresh all day.  It is the key to making your skin makeup-ready. … Moisturize: Always apply moisturizer before priming, as it makes your primer application even

Primer #1: Primark Ps… Primer water 💦

This is a great wee primer and is budget friendly. At such an affordable price it is great for anyone starting out with makeup especially if your just learning about primer and how to use it. It is definitely one I would repurchase.

Primer #2:  Rimmel London Lasting finish primer

This is the first primer I used when I started using primer before applying my foundation. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo for this primer as I used it up a while ago and haven’t repurchased it as I have been trying out other primers. Rimmel products are also really affordable

Primer #3: Rimmel London Exaggerate undercover shadow primer:

This is another one of the primers that I first tried when I started using primer. This eyeshadow primer is a great base for your eyeshadow. Eyeshadow primer prevents your eyeshadow from creasing and helps it last longer I also find that eyeshadow primer is great for using under your concealer under your eyes as it prevents it from creasing. This is another really affordable primer

Primer #4: Kat Von D lock it primer

I absolutely love this primer and it is great when I pair it with my lock it foundation for an even makeup application

Primer #5: Smashbox photo finish foundation primer

The Smashbox primer is a transparent gel that smooths your skin and blurs any flaws. This primer is oil free which makes it perfect to use for any skin types and it has to be one of my favourite primers of all time. I will definitely be repurchasing this primer once I have used it.

Primer #6: Laura Geller Spackle under makeup primer

The laura geller primer is also oil free which makes it suitable for any skin types.

It  is made with natural plant extracts and the powerful anti-oxidants, white tea and centella asiatica extracts. These ingredients protect the skin along with aloe vera gel. Spackle also helps the skin retain moisture, feel softer and look smoother.

Thanks for reading hope you all enjoyed this post

Comment below any recommendations you have for primers that you think I should try

Homemade face mask recipes…..

Hey girlies and guys,

Before we get into today’s post I just want to apologise for not posting on Saturday I was out for my sisters hen do and didn’t have time to get a post up.

So with that been said let’s get into today’s post

For today’s post I am going to share with you a few recipes for homemade face masks that I have found online

Face mask #1: Banana

Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water

Face mask #2: Banana and honey

1/4 cup plain yogurt                                        2 tablespoons honey (a natural acne remedy)                                                               1 medium banana                                             Mix all the ingredients together into a smooth paste, apply to your face and let set for around 20 mins, then rinse off

Face mask #3: Milk

Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely, then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.

Face mask #4: Avocado

Take 1/4 ripe avocado and mash it up in a bowl until it turns lump free. Mix into the pulp 1 teaspoon of plain organic yogurt and 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Stir them well until you get a paste of uniform consistency. Apply the mask onto your skin for 10-15 minutes or until it dries out.

Face mask #5: Oatmeal

Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

Face mask #6: Egg

In a clean mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and lemon juice until the mixture becomes frothy.                                           Wash your face with warm water to open up your pores.                                            Relax yourself as you wait for the mixture to settle and dry on your face.                  Keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes.

So as you can see from this post you don’t need to spend lots of money on expensive face masks or even spending lots of money going to spas

Hope you all found this post useful

Let me know in the comments if you try any of these face masks
