Homemade face mask recipes…..

Hey girlies and guys,

Before we get into today’s post I just want to apologise for not posting on Saturday I was out for my sisters hen do and didn’t have time to get a post up.

So with that been said let’s get into today’s post

For today’s post I am going to share with you a few recipes for homemade face masks that I have found online

Face mask #1: Banana

Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water

Face mask #2: Banana and honey

1/4 cup plain yogurt                                        2 tablespoons honey (a natural acne remedy)                                                               1 medium banana                                             Mix all the ingredients together into a smooth paste, apply to your face and let set for around 20 mins, then rinse off

Face mask #3: Milk

Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely, then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.

Face mask #4: Avocado

Take 1/4 ripe avocado and mash it up in a bowl until it turns lump free. Mix into the pulp 1 teaspoon of plain organic yogurt and 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Stir them well until you get a paste of uniform consistency. Apply the mask onto your skin for 10-15 minutes or until it dries out.

Face mask #5: Oatmeal

Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

Face mask #6: Egg

In a clean mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and lemon juice until the mixture becomes frothy.                                           Wash your face with warm water to open up your pores.                                            Relax yourself as you wait for the mixture to settle and dry on your face.                  Keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes.

So as you can see from this post you don’t need to spend lots of money on expensive face masks or even spending lots of money going to spas

Hope you all found this post useful

Let me know in the comments if you try any of these face masks

Thanks for reading

Stay fabulous

A xx
