I have been absolutely loving face masks lately so for today’s post I thought I would do s blog post on D.I.Y face masks.

These recipes are a few D.I.Y face mask recipes that I have found over the past few years.

All these face masks are made with natural products

The yogurt face mask is really soothing for sunburn or irritated skin.

Ingredients:

🔸couple drops of honey

Mix all the ingredients together, apply to the skin and leave on for 15minutes.          After 15 minutes wash face mask off with a warm washcloth

Face mask #2: Strawberry and honey face mask

The strawberry and honey combo makes a nice wee exfoliating face mask.

Ingredients:

🔸2 or 3 strawberries

🔸1 tablespoon of honey

Mash the strawberries into a pulp. Stir the honey in until you get a smooth paste. Apply the mixture onto your face and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

Face mask #3: Egg white face mask

Ingredients:

🔸1 egg white

🔸1/4 avocado

🔸1 teaspoon yogurt

Mash the avocado into a paste and then add the egg white, yogurt and mix. Apply a thick layer of the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

Face mask #4: Avocado face mask

Ingredients:

🔸1 avocado

🔸I egg white

🔸1 teaspoon lemon juice

Mix ingredients together well. Apply evenly into a clean face, avoiding the eyes. Let it dry for 30 minutes then rinse throughly with warm water.

Always remember to do a test patch to make sure you’re not sensitive to the face masks. If your skin turns red rinse the area with Luke warm water.
